Any large-scale project starts with a concept. This time we faced a challenge that is to develop a project of internal restructuring for the huge existing shopping center of five floors dedicated it to the restaurant business: shops, bars and restaurants of different price ranges according to the floor (or level) in which they are located. So, if there are cafes and shops on the ground floor where you can buy takeaway or ice cream, on the fourth floor there will be restaurants where you can enjoy a refined and high-level cuisine or organize an important event. While developing this concept, we paid attention to economic component, both for construction and engineering part. We also conducted a careful analysis of the proper use of this building in this particular area of Shanghai. Our work on concept development was coordinated with important catering companies as Novikov, Culinaryon, Princi and Cipriani.
